Workplace diversity matters

Before, during and after SuccessConnect 2016, we encourage you to get to know Girls in Tech (GIT), and their fight for social change in technology. GIT is a global non-profit focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of girls and women who are passionate about technology. Founded by Adriana Gascoigne in 2007, GIT encourages girls to pursue careers in tech, advocates for salary parity, and promotes the advancement of women in leadership roles and tackles many other issues facing women in tech.

Girls in Tech seeks to eradicate gender disparities in the technology field by engaging and empowering women who are passionate about, and entering into, high-tech careers or startups. GIT's mission fits well with SAP's own Diversity and Inclusion initiatives including powerful, ground-breaking analytics software to help employers fight bias, and the Defining Moments series published in the Digitalist magazine.
