SAP® SuccessFactors® Solution Paves a Clear Path for Payroll in the Cloud
New SAP SuccessFactors Solution for Managed Payroll Helps Customers Move On-Premise Payroll to the Cloud
LAS VEGAS — August 30, 2016 — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced the SAP® SuccessFactors® solution for managed payroll to complement its cloud-based SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solution. This new solution provides customers who have payroll solutions from SAP the opportunity to have their existing payroll implementations hosted and managed in the cloud. This announcement was made at SuccessConnect®, taking place August 29–31 in Las Vegas.
The SAP SuccessFactors solution for managed payroll helps SAP customers on their cloud journey by enabling a time-saving transition of their payroll implementations to the cloud. SAP’s partnership with managed service providers EPI-USE and NGA HR makes the transition easier. On behalf of SAP, they will host and manage customers’ payroll functionality in the SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution.
The offering is designed to help provide additional customer benefits, including the elimination of HR IT infrastructure and a shift of capital expenses to operating expenses. The end result is a cloud-based payroll solution that can be migrated easily and requires no reimplementation.
Jonathan Tager, CEO of EPI-USE, said: “SAP SuccessFactors* is providing an elegant solution for organizations worldwide that are demanding novel, innovative ways of managing their payroll systems and a cost-effective pathway to the cloud, while avoiding reimplementation and retaining the functional richness of their existing systems. We are delighted to have been selected as a partner for this initiative.”
Adel Al-Saleh, CEO of NGA Human Resources, said: "The SAP SuccessFactors solution for managed payroll by NGA HR makes it easy to move HR processes into the cloud with the goal of ensuring a consistent and reliable payroll operation. Our joint solution combines the need for stable day-to-day payroll delivery with the expectations of a modern employee experience. In partnership with SAP, we’re making the transition from on-premise to HR in the cloud seamless for organizations.”
“Payroll is a historically complex and critical HR function, which is a prime target for digital transformation,” said David Ludlow, group vice president of Solution Management at SAP SuccessFactors. “By working with our partners, we have developed solutions and integrations that allow us to meet the evolving payroll needs and strategies of our clients, while freeing IT and HR to concentrate on driving additional value to the business on a global scale.”
SAP SuccessFactors Managed Payroll will be discussed at SuccessConnect, the top HR event of the year. The session, titled “Payroll: Moving from On-Premise to Cloud,” will share different paths available to customers to transition on-premise payroll systems to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
