Legendary Formula 1 Driver and Entrepreneur to Keynote Europe’s Leading HR Event
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — August 2, 2016 —In today’s fast-paced business world, successful human resources (HR) organizations make real-time decisions with speed and agility. SuccessConnect Vienna 2016 will showcase an icon of speed and high performance in sport and business with a special keynote presentation from Niki Lauda, Formula 1 pioneer and world-class businessman. Lauda’s session is one of many insightful talks taking place at the premier event for HR professionals, being held November 28-29 at the Messe Wien in Vienna, Austria.
SuccessConnect is the HR event of the year, where thousands of the world’s leading HR professionals will gather to explore how cutting-edge cloud-based human capital management (HCM) solutions are transforming the role of HR in today’s digital economy. As a three-time World Champion, Lauda is known as one of the best Formula 1 racing drivers the sport has ever seen. His successful entrepreneurial career includes founding two airlines, and speaking to audiences around the world as an expert on the importance of teamwork, motivation and success.
“Our goal for SuccessConnect is to bring together a roster of speakers that can inspire us, both in our work and in our lives,” said Mike Ettling, president of SAP SuccessFactors. “Niki Lauda’s story is one of triumph and adversity, of success in both sport and business. He believes what we believe, that success is not only based on how fast you can be, but on the people who help you achieve great things.”
Lauda is a three-time F1 World Champion, and the only driver to win titles for both Ferrari and McLaren. After his retirement in 1985, he devoted himself to Lauda Air which was eventually sold to Austrian Airlines. He is currently the owner of another airline, Niki, as well as an F1 television commentator and chairman of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team.
Lauda’s Keynote will take place Tuesday, November 29 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Hot topics at this year’s SuccessConnect include digitalizing processes and strategies so HR can be more effective, employing the right people in the right roles to meet the demands of a rapidly changing digital word, and fostering an all-in work environment to move your company forward. Don’t miss your chance to experience how SAP SuccessFactors and representatives of our customers from around the world demonstrate that success is simply human.
