SuccessFactors Accelerates Workforce Performance and Business Execution With Additional Global Capabilities

New Capabilities for SuccessFactors Employee Central

  • Extended global payroll capabilities and functionality: Extends support of payroll processing to Japan and Russia, bringing the total number of countries supported by Employee Central Payroll to 22.

  • Localized support for 51 countries: Continues to expand global capabilities and address local business needs in 29 new countries, bringing the total to 51 dedicated country versions. Delivers localized personal and employment information such as national ID verification, payment information, dependents, disability information and global name formatting. In addition, income tax declaration forms are now available in India.

  • Advanced reporting:Provides a set of pre-defined list and analytical reports, international and country-specific, which can be used out of the box. With the Online Report Designer, reports can be adapted to customer needs and new reports can be easily created, leveraging all fields in Employee Central. The new reporting tool provides the following:

Ability to report on any type of time-dependent data

  • Reorganization planning: Available on the iPad, reorganization planning provides the ability to simulate restructuring changes and view metrics on these changes, as well as the impact they would have on the organization without committing the changes to the live system. When ready, the changes can be committed to the system, capturing effective dates and workflow approvals.

New SuccessFactors Learning User Experience

  • As part of an ongoing commitment to provide an incredible, intuitive, “consumer-grade” experience, SuccessFactors Learning offers a new learning user experience. Based on the same design principles as SuccessFactors home pages, the new Learning home page includes configurable content tiles with thumbnail images and course descriptions. It also includes a combined catalog search with recommended and featured courses all in one place. Learning administrators will also benefit from a number of enhancements, including but not limited to, an updated user experience to the Items Detail and Curriculum Details pages, which now include the ability to show individual fields, arrange courses by date, and show items which are part of a curriculum, or by priority. These user experience enhancements in Learning are designed to drive faster time-to-learning completion, improve engagement and support for employee self-development.

Additional SuccessFactors BizX Features

  • SuccessFactors Mobile: A fully redesigned mobile app for the iPad features a tile-based user interface that provides instant access to rich and diverse talent-related information. The content and actions presented in the new interface are personalized based on the access permissions of the user, delivering a useful and relevant experience for everyone. In addition, SuccessFactors is introducing new features fit for a tablet and mobile environment, including reorganization planning, the ability to make on-screen annotations and share them with others, and functionality that gives employees and managers full view into team calendars and planned time off.

  • Employee referral capabilities: Updates to SuccessFactors Recruiting include social referrals that make it easier to refer people to open positions in a company. This feature leverages LinkedIn and Facebook profiles where employees can match contacts to jobs, jobs to contacts, refer a contact to a recruiter, track progress and determine how much money in referral bonuses they’ve earned.

New SuccessFactors Onboarding Solution

With this release, SuccessFactors announces the availability of SuccessFactors Onboarding, a solution that makes the onboarding process easy, automatic and personal, and lays the foundation for productive and engaged employees. Key differentiators from other onboarding solutions on the market include:

  • More guidance for hiring managers: SuccessFactors Onboarding gives the hiring manager step-by-step guidance on what to do to create an outstanding onboarding experience for the new employee, as well as a feature-rich dashboard to track the entire process in real time.

  • Richer socialization capabilities: Integration with the SAP Jam social software platform and leveraging the powerful employee profile means that new hires can start building relationships and knowledge even before their first day, through features that allow them to see their team, explore the organization chart and virtually meet their new hire buddy.

  • Leveraging the SuccessFactors BizX Platform: SuccessFactors Onboarding was built to leverage and enhance the SuccessFactors BizX platform with connections to other talent processes such as goal setting, learning and development, recruiting and core HR.
