Erik Berggren, Sr. Director of Customer Results & Global Research, leads the Research and Strategic Consulting group within SuccessFactors.
Mr. Berggren has worked on strategic consulting service engagements with more than 30 companies across Europe and the US. He has held positions with Ernst & Young in Stockholm and New York and most recently worked with Capgemini in the Nordics.
He was the CEO and cofounder of a research based consulting company that developed thought leadership on measurement systems.
He has made significant contributions to the development of the companies that he has worked with in numerous industries on a wide range of topics. For example, Mr. Berggren was accountable for a major turnaround of a service provider business in the Oil & Gas sector. Under the leadership of his advisory services the company not only developed a new marketing function and a reengineered sales process including a sales war framework, but closed its biggest and most strategic deal ever. Mr. Berggren coached the bid manager and the CEO on a daily basis. Competitive strategy, communication plans, partnerships, delivery accelerators and pricing were the key topics. Mr. Berggren was responsible for all activities that supported the revenue side and the goal of an increased sustained top line over years.
Mr. Berggren is a recognized thought leader in the HCM field and is frequently invited to speak at conferences around the world.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. He has studied Marketing and Finance at an MBA program at K.U. Leuven, Belgium and also studied French in Katholique Université de Lyon, France.
Christopher Lozaga
Christopher Lozaga, Research Analyst, has authored the paper Drive Top and Bottom Line Results with People Performance and conducts original research for the SuccessFactors research team.
Prior to working at SuccessFactors, Mr. Lozaga served as a consultant for a startup investment company in Hong Kong, working remotely from New York. The company began trading securities successfully four months after the initial conception of the business and operations plan, written by Mr. Lozaga and his consulting partner. He brings a unique perspective to SuccessFactors Research with diverse work experience, having spent five years at an internet startup as a technical lead and project manager, as well one year at IBM.
Mr. Lozaga holds a Masters of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Media, Art & Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the oldest engineering university in the U.S., located in Troy, New York.
Keith Messick
Keith Messick, Sr. Manager of Customer Results, leads the strategic business case and value realization consulting efforts for SuccessFactors Global Research.Mr. Messick has spent the past decade helping customers better align People, Process, and Technology within large Business-to-Business sales organizations. He has held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Siebel (OnTarget), and the Corporate Executive Board. His projects have taken him across three continents working for some of the world’s largest companies as well as early stage start-up’s.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina.
