More Collaboration: even more ways to improve recruiting
Collaboration makes for better decisions–especially when it comes to hiring. SuccessFactors new collaborative recruiting makes it easier to get the discussions going and keep them going across many different time zones and locations. At any point in the hiring process, you can create a private discussion group directly from the requisition and invite everyone you want to participate. Add the candidate’s resume and pose a question, create a poll or nudge group members who are slow to respond. Now you can capture comments, post interview questions and save it all for historical reference.
The May release adds a few more ways to make your recruiting more efficient and effective. With Online Resume Review, you can flip through the resumes for a particular requisition inside of SuccessFactors quickly, without the extra step of opening up another application (e.g. Word or Adobe). Fewer clicks on every requisition will really add up.
In March we introduced Mobile Recruiting with the ability to approve requisitions and submit candidate feedback from a mobile device. With this release, we’ve added the important step to help you close the deal–offer approval. Whether your approver is the traveling hiring manager or the book-closing finance manager, everyone carries smart phones these days–eliminating any excuse for slowing down the hiring process.
Greater Flexibility: BizX Mobile gets more flexible
In March we introduced our mobile platform, BizX Mobile, supporting iPhone, iPad and Blackberry. With the May release, we are adding support for Android, the fastest growing Smartphone platform. Now more than 90 percent of Smartphone users can access their SuccessFactors accounts and information from their mobile device.
In addition to Android support, we’ve added a mobile org chart to our mobile platform. Get a visual image of how your organization is ‘officially’ connected, as well as drill-down capabilities to the ‘quick card’ for each individual.
Improved Productivity: CubeTree adds video for more efficient sharing
Video is one of the fastest ways to share knowledge, and with the May release, CubeTree users will have the ability to upload, view and comment on video content (both on the web and supported mobile devices). Just-in-time, just enough, and just-for-me content allows employees to get in, get what they need, and get out with increased productivity.
Building the right connections increases employee engagement while uncovering content to help improve productivity. In our new release, CubeTree automatically makes recommendations on whom you should be following based on your profile data (org structure, job code, language, title, etc.), user activity, and other social graph data.
Introducing Jambok—SuccessFactors Social Learning Platform
By 2014, more than 45% of the US workforce will be people born after 1977. These new employees are increasingly comfortable with social technologies, and learning via their connected networks. They are used to turning to YouTube or their favorite search engine to learn new skills. What’s needed to accommodate the next generation of employees, as well as those with an increasing workload and little time to keep up with the onslaught of new information, is a faster, easier way to exchange knowledge—a free-flow of information and ideas that happens as easily as it does in our personal lives.
Introducing SuccessFactors Jambok—a social learning platform with advanced mobile capability that unlocks knowledge, expertise and ideas to make the workplace smarter. Jambok draws on the consumer world’s popular Web 2.0 tools like YouTube and Facebook, to offer easy content creation, sharing, discovery and social networking. Jambok makes informal learning easy and effective with video and podcasting, discussion forums, blogs, and activity feeds, all supported by rich social searching and analytics within SuccessFactors secure, scalable, enterprise-ready platform.
