The EMEA region continues to contribute greatly to SuccessFactors' financial results for the first-half of 2009, as the company added new customers in over 13 countries including Hartley - SAS in the United Kingdom, Siemens, Deutsche Bank, and Allianz in German, Barilla in Italy, Societe Generale, AREVA and Veolia in France, Nestle in Switzerland, Cofra, PON, and ING in the Netherlands, Hilti in Liechtenstein, Fortum and Fiskars in Finland, many notable 10,000 plus employee companies, and eircom in Ireland.
SuccessFactors and Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister recently announced the planned opening of SuccessFactors Dublin Multilingual Business Centre.

In addition to the new customers, SuccessFactors enjoyed large scale deployments across EMEA, including previously-announced Siemens AG, the world's largest enterprise cloud deployment with 420,000 users across 80 countries in 20 different languages, and Veolia Environmental Services, part of the Veolia Environment Group, in support of its enterprise cloud initiative, deployed to almost 3,000 executives and managers across five countries. Major European customers also include companies such as Kellogg's, Orange, and Cadburys Schweppes.
