Customer in Action: Danbury Hospital

Danbury Hospital, the flagship of Danbury Health System, is consistently ranked in the "top 5% of hospitals" nationwide by HealthGrades. The hospital's management believed in the business value of deploying a performance and talent management solution, recognizing that employee engagement in a pay-for-performance culture could improve their bottom line. Facilitating JCAHO compliance, automating their compensation processes, having an easy-to-use system for all users, and proven experience with other hospitals were key requirements. In a selection process of seven vendors, led by Phyllis Zappala, senior vice president of human resources for Danbury Hospital, SuccessFactors was Danbury's choice for its 3,800 users.
