With the Independence Day holiday here in the US, Dr. Steve and the Mad Dog kept this week’s episode short and sweet.

Interview: Troy Heinritz from CDW

CDWIn his first interview (it shows), Jim caught up with Troy Heinritz, Senior HRIS Analyst at CDW Corporation to talk about their implementation of SuccessFactors. Initially CDW focused on Succession (press release), but have subsequently expanded into the rest of the product suite.

If you are looking to implement a Talent Management System there are a few key points to look for in this interview.

1) CDW started out with a focus on automation, but over time they saw so many more benefits to having an integrated SaaS Talent Management Solution.

2) You need to have realistic expectations around ROI. It is achievable (read study, listen to Episode 6), but it will take a bit of time.

3) Getting high adoption rates is a key factor to success.

4) You can learn from new clients too! - With SuccessFactors on-demand technology, you can upgrade when you
are ready. New clients can teach you the ropes through the SuccessFactors Customer Community.
