OCLC is a nonprofit computer library service and research organization dedicated to furthering access to the world’s information and reducing library costs. More than 72,000 libraries in 170 countries have used OCLC services to locate, acquire, catalog, lend, preserve and manage library materials.
OCLC relies on its online community, WebJunction to connect more than 10,000 users to webinars, courses, articles, handouts and forum discussions that address the real issues librarians and library staff face every day. OCLC needed to close the following gaps:
