What I like to do outside of work:
I enjoy boxing, hockey, and both building and riding motorcycles. I also have a great time coaching my son’s teams.
Q: Where in your background did you learn the most?
A:DocSpace/Critical Path. I joined DocSpace in 1999 and the company was acquired by Critical Path less than 6 months later. In the 5 years there learned what it meant to truly manage people, squeeze the most out of technology and most of all to move fast.
Q: If you could meet one person in history, who would you meet and why?
A: Marcus Aurelius. He was the last of the "Good Emperors" and believed in a government of service and duty to the people. In my mind he defined what a leader should be.
Q: What's been your biggest surprise during your time at SuccessFactors?
A: I knew from my dealings with SuccessFactors as a customer that there was an infectious enthusiasm within the company but until you’re actually a part of it, you don’t realize the true extent of it.
Q: If you had 20 seconds to tell a new client about why they should use SuccessFactors, what would you say?
A: There is no other company that can supply such quality tools in such a short time frame as we can especially when the fight for good solid talent is rising so rapidly.
Q: Why do you believe in the promise of Performance & Talent Management?
A: It what the employees want. It shows them the path to development themselves and provides solid feedback to help them get there.
Q:Why are you proud to work at SuccessFactors?
A: This company stands behind it’s decisions 150%. As a former customer no vendor had ever gone to the lengths SuccessFactors did to ensure we as a customer were satisfied.
