Randy Womack joined SuccessFactors in March 2003, after working closely with the team from December 2002. He was a Partner in the Fast Forward Group in Greylock from 2000-2003.

He came to Greylock from Digital River, an e-commerce ASP with more than 6000 online stores, where, as CIO, he led development of the Commerce Network Server and built a state-of-the-art Sun-, Oracle- and Cisco-based data center. Through his work at Digital River in 1997, Randy gained the experience of joining an Internet company early and leading it to a successful IPO.

Prior to joining Digital River in 1997, Randy was Director of Engineering at Xerox and spent five years at Oracle in various development and product management positions.

Before Oracle, Randy was with two other start-up companies: Artificial Linguistics and Dell Computer.
