Q: Where in your background did you learn the most?
A: Initially I would say Clarify. I took on several different responsibilities over a 4 year period of tremendous growth, including being acquired by Nortel. I had the benefit of learning from a strong sales management team that guided us through the birth and then consolidation of the CRM market. Since then, I’ve learned a great deal from my 4 ½ years with SuccessFactors growing from just 60 employees when I joined to well over 700, oh yeah and going public.
Q: If you could meet one person in history, who would you meet and why?
A: Babe Ruth. I’d love to have a conversation with him regarding the debate over the best player ever, Babe vs Barry, as well as his take on steroids use in the majors.
Q: What's been your biggest surprise during your time at SuccessFactors?
A: I knew SuccessFactors was on to something but I did not anticipate the enormous response and demand so this early from the market across all segments.
Q: If you had 20 seconds to tell a new client about why they should use SuccessFactors, what would you say?
A: We have over 2,500 clients, large and small, that use our software to help bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ultimately driving increased business productivity and results. We do it better than everyone, we care, just ask our customers.
Q: Why are you proud to work at SuccessFactors?
A: The people and the mission. We have great people that work at SuccessFactors. We work tremendously hard and care about the results in order to deliver on the promise of Performance and Talent Management.
