Account Executive, II (San Mateo, CA)
AE, II is a mid to senior level sales role supporting our SMB space (1-500)count. Small Business (SMB) makes up 70 percent of the economy and 50 percent of overall IT spending and Forrester expects the SMB market to expand more quickly than other sectors of the economy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively forecast business
- Maintain pipeline of 3x quota
- Host online presentations and demonstration via go to meeting
- Provide prompt phone/email follow up to all inbound leads and properly document and track results
- Build and maintain knowledge base to become an expert on SuccessFactors products and services, as well as the competitive landscape for small business
- Utilize Oracle CRM to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account and effectively manage territory
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent verbal (via telephone) and written(via email) communication skills
- Strong listening skills and presentation skills
- Strategic sales capabilities which support selling to the C-Level of small businesses, balanced with tactical skills for a fast-paced, high volume lead follow-up environment
- Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment, open and collaborative environment.
- A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A technical aptitude
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of solid technology direct sales background with proven history of quota overachievement.
- Experience selling business software applications and/or web-based software strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to close business via phone and face to face.
- Highly Effective at web-based product demonstrations
- Experience working with CRM software
